I’m actually buying Chris Anderson’s book this weekend.
My expectation is probably that I won’t agree with everything the book professes, but it’s nonetheless invaluable in starting to think ‘Free’ as a business tool.
This extract pretty much sums the book up:
“Google offers nearly a hundred products…almost all of them are free of charge. Really free – no trick. It does it the way any modern digital company should: by handing out a lot of things to make money on a few.”
