Invite: Heavy Chef March (CT) - Focusing on Security

Invites have opened for our next Heavy Chef session in Cape Town focused on internet and mobile security practice and trends. The invite:

Security and Marketing

Last week alone, I received three emails from ABSA informing me that there were several attempts to hack into my ABSA bank account. This would have been unsettling if it weren’t for the fact that I don’t bank with ABSA. Last year we saw an alarming rise in hacking attempts on well known blogs, websites and forums across the interwebs. It’s a scary thing being in our industry when you realise that your hard work can be accessed by some Taiwanese dude sitting in a basement in Taipei.

With this in mind, we invited Justin Stanford to talk to us about security in next week's Heavy Chef Session. He’s an authority since he is the owner/investor of both  ESET and FireID, two of the planet’s best known internet and mobile security firms. Justin will share with us his journey, his goals with the company, internet and mobile security trends, and why marketers should be worried about security of their campaigns.
